Something a little different for the blog today – more often than not engagement sessions take place in a tranquil wood, or fields of corn, or a pretty local park, but when the subject came up with Niall & Kate who are planning their wedding for later this year, there was only one place that they thought would fit – London Science Museum!
Now, I haven’t been to the Science Museum since I was a kid, and if you haven’t either, then go! It was great, and free, and when you are there you can still act like a kid!
Niall & Kate; if this was just the warm up, I can’t wait for the wedding!
Oh, and for any photographers reading this, there was no issue from security in shooting at this location.

Phil & Kamila met in the Italian Dolomites, where Phil has spent numerous years helping to run a fab family business called Collett’s Mountain Holidays. I have holidayed with them, and worked with them, and had many a funny moment with them in and out of Italy, and it was an honour to be asked to document their wedding. To be quite honest, I had no idea what was going on half the time with Phil prancing around (sometimes literally) in various different outfits throughout the day, but I think it’s fair to say that everyone had a jolly good time.
Phil & Kamila; Congratulations on being an amazing couple, and now a married one! I hope this brief set of images brings back some of the memories of the day, and captures it as you remember it. I think this set covers a lot of the colours and a lot of the smiles.
And I haven’t even included any of the bouncy castle…
For those of you who may be interested in exactly where this wedding was held, the ceremony took place in the Town Hall of Corvara, whilst the reception was at Rifugio Nagler beneath Santa Croce (near Badia).

I’ve never spent a lot of time in Richmond, but after spending a few hours there with Sarah & Dan, I can see why so many people love it – even the walk to the park was a walk in the park, and Richmond Park itself is beautiful and expansive. The sunshine was a help of course, along with the good company of the fairly recently engaged (and fairly soon to be married!) Sarah and Dan.
All the best for your upcoming wedding Sarah & Dan, and I hope that a pleasant evening spent in the park along with these images make up for the numerous insect bites we picked up whilst enjoying our post-shoot beer!

You may remember Rebecca & Duncan’s fab Cambridge engagement shoot from a while back, and it feels like I’ve been looking forward to their wedding for an absolute age… and it was well worth the wait! Rebecca looked absolutely stunning, we had a gorgeous sunny day, beautiful bridesmaids, and Duncan didn’t scrub up too badly himself.
Holme Pierrepont made for a fabulous wedding venue, and you could see on Beck and Duncan’s faces how much they enjoyed the day from start to finish. Oh – and look out for Rebecca’s dad in his many guises… Father Of The Bride, Speech Maker, and not to mention Minister..!

Yoshi & Laura’s blessing at St John The Baptist Church in Peterborough was a bit of a trip down memory lane for me – a return to the town that I grew up in, a wedding breakfast in Peterborough Town Hall where Mell and I had our wedding reception last year, and best of all, some familiar faces from my school days in the wedding party!
Laura & Yoshi make such a sweet couple – Laura is kind and funny, and Yoshi never stops smiling! In fact, one of my favourite images from this post is of Yoshi relaxed and smiling – you can see it in the speech section of this post, and it will doubtless make it’s way into my portfolio slideshow soon too!
